Young Basile Congratulates Lawyers: Matt Chess, Philip Koranteng, and Chris Sims

Young Basile is pleased to announce the addition of Matt Chess, Philip Koranteng, and Chris Sims as Lawyers in the firm. All three were participants in the YB Patent Apprentice program.

Mr. Chess focuses his practice on patent application preparation and prosecution for mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. Mr. Chess also has experience in patent portfolio analysis and strategic intellectual property counseling.

Mr. Koranteng focuses his efforts on assisting the firm with patent preparation and prosecution matters. Mr. Koranteng is also a participant in the Young Basile Patent Apprenticeship program.

Mr. Sims focuses his practice on patent application preparation and prosecution for mechanical, and software systems. He also assists clients in federally registering their trademarks. Mr. Sims functioned as the Chief Information Office at Young Basile during his first year with the firm. As the Chief Information Officer Mr. Sims worked towards increasing the firm’s security posture and migrating the firm’s infrastructure towards the cloud.
