Lance Kawesch is a veteran corporate, M&A, and securities lawyer who advises technology companies, emerging businesses, investors, executives, and established mid-market companies on complex business transactions. His practice includes mergers, acquisitions and business sales, equity and debt financings, angel and venture funding, securities matters, licensing, contracts, strategic alliances, and general business transactions. Lance brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to every deal, drawing on his experience as a large-firm transactional lawyer, private-practice advisor, software executive, and technology entrepreneur. Before attending Boston University School of Law, where he served as a Law Review Editor and graduated magna cum laude in 1994, Lance started and grew a software company that he later sold to Dun & Bradstreet.
His clients range from emerging startups to Fortune 500 companies, with particular strength in technology, software licensing, life sciences, and international matters.
