Ms. Kleinhardt practices in all areas of intellectual property, with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation, patent application drafting and patent prosecution.
Ms. Kleinhardt’s litigation experience includes cases involving patent infringement and trade secrets. These cases have arisen in a number of fields, including computer software, industrial automation and consumer products.
Prior to joining Young Basile, Ms. Kleinhardt clerked for the Michigan Court of Appeals and later became the Research Coordinator. As the Research Coordinator, Ms. Kleinhardt was responsible for the Michigan Appellate Digest and an expansive collection of internal research treatises used by staff attorneys and judges. She also assisted with the release of published opinions.
Industry Experience
Before entering the legal profession, Ms. Kleinhardt worked in the information technology field for a Fortune 500 company and two government agencies.
