He has significant experience in patent harvesting and patent prosecution, assisting large companies to build high-quality patent portfolios in software, electrical, and computer technologies.
Industry Experience
Mr. Roper was most recently in-house counsel at Zoom, helping to build a patent program from the ground up. Prior to Zoom, Mr. Roper was in-house counsel at Microsoft where he managed patent portfolios for Surface, Azure Compute, SQL Server, and incubation products. Mr. Roper has been an inventor on over 10 patent applications.
