Mr. Huq focuses his practice on securing patents in a wide variety of industries and technologies for domestic and international clients. He has prepared and prosecuted domestic and foreign patent applications related to wireless technologies including UMTS, LTE, LTE-A, and IoT wireless technologies, computer hardware and software including cache, memory access and architecture, pipeline architecture, temperature and power functionality, graphics hardware and software, microprocessors, wearable technologies, electro-optics and mobile devices.

He has counseled clients on licensing agreements, patent portfolio strategies, due diligence and assertion efforts. He has drafted licensing agreements, development agreements, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements and other related documentation. Mr. Huq previously worked as in-house counsel at a large research and development company. He brings both in-house and private practice perspectives to all matters.

Industry Experience

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Huq worked as radar systems engineer at a large multi-national corporation. He worked on the development of the AEGIS Weapons system and was a lead engineer for the development and evaluation of specific subsystems of the weapons system.
