Mr. Huq has prepared and prosecuted domestic and foreign patent applications related to wireless technologies including UMTS, LTE, LTE-A and IoT related standards, computer hardware and software including cache, computer architecture, and graphics processing, light emitting device design and fabrication, set-top box hardware and software, wearable technologies, medical devices, food and drink packaging, electro-optics, electronic component design and manufacturing, mobile devices, medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing and fuel cell optimization for electric vehicles.
Mr. Huq has counseled clients on licensing agreements, patent portfolio strategies, due diligence and assertion efforts. He has drafted licensing agreements, development agreements, letters of intent, non-disclosure agreements and other related documentation. Mr. Huq previously worked as in-house counsel at a large research and development company. He brings both in-house and private practice perspectives to all matters.
Industry Experience
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Huq worked as radar systems engineer at a large multi-national corporation. He worked on the development of the AEGIS Weapons system and was a lead engineer for the development and evaluation of specific subsystems of the weapons system.
