His practice includes artificial intelligence and machine learning, telecommunications and signal processing, autonomous vehicle control systems, networking protocols and distributed computing, medical devices and healthcare software, 3D printing and additive manufacturing systems, and space systems including satellite navigation, control systems, and optical technologies.

Industry Experience

Before entering law, Mr. Rimkunas spent several years as an engineer in industry. He worked as a software engineer developing acoustic test and measurement systems, where he designed data acquisition and signal processing algorithms. He also served as an electrical engineer on communications intelligence systems for military aircraft. This engineering experience provides practical insight into how technologies function and how they fit within broader system architectures.
