Ms. Weimer focuses her practice on portfolio management and patent preparation and prosecution in a range of technologies including consumer electronics, automotive systems, and aerospace technology. She also provides strategic counseling and litigation support, generates patentability, clearance, validity, and infringement opinions, and provides portfolio valuation and landscapes by leveraging patent analytical tools. With both in-house and law firm experience, Ms. Weimer enjoys working with clients of all backgrounds to prepare effective patent applications and build a strategic intellectual property portfolio.
Industry Experience
Prior to law, Ms. Weimer spent several years in the automotive industry in program management and research engineering, often serving as a liaison between management, other engineers, and the intellectual property legal team. As a registered patent attorney with an MBA and degrees in aerospace and mechanical engineering, Ms. Weimer has the skills and experience to bridge the gap between these groups and counsel clients on the complex legal issues involved in intellectual property.
