Ms. Farina focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution for domestic and international clients in a range of technologies including consumer electronics, automotive systems, computer software and alternative fuels.

She also provides client counseling, generates patentability and infringement opinions and provides portfolio valuation and landscapes by leveraging patent analytical tools.

Prior to joining Young Basile, Ms. Farina worked at a general practice firm in patent, trademark and copyright prosecution in the areas of automotive braking, consumer product packaging and food branding.

Industry Experience

Ms. Farina has over a decade of engineering experience in the areas of vehicle aerodynamics, automotive component design, military communication and control systems, vehicle racing and vehicle electronics.

She also has industry experience in contract negotiations, purchasing, component cost optimization and international product launch coordination.
